Multiple Sclerosis, alternative cure

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease in which inflammation of the white matter in the brain, spinal cord or optic nerves occurs. The white matter is located in the nerve endings. Because it does not function properly, there is less information transfer between nerve cells. For the optic nerve, this leads to reduced visual field. For the brain there may be reduced memory. For the spinal cord there is reduced coordination, loss of strength, involuntary muscle contractions, bladder problems, potency disorders and fatigue. Conventional medicine assumes that MS cannot be cured. Some alternative physicians argue that healing is possible in some cases. NB! Regular versus alternative

MS is considered an incurable disease in conventional medicine. Conventional medicine is based on scientific research. In herbal medicine, the disease is usually incurable in the second half of life, but the symptoms can be reduced and minimized. According to alternative medicine, food is very important. This is not supported by scientific research. In conventional medicine, the image of the MS patient deteriorates as he gets older. Alternative medicine holds that the reverse process of deterioration can be transformed into improvement or healing.Oligodendrocytes are the cells that produce myelin. Sunlight and nutrition

The nerve cell extensions contain myelin or white matter, which does not function properly. This substance is built up during childhood. Vitamin D is needed to properly absorb calcium. When people’s skin comes into contact with sunlight, vitamin D is produced. In general, MS does not occur around the equator and more and more MS occurs as you go north. Vitamin D from sunlight is related to the development of MS. Norway is an exception. In Norway people suffer much less from MS than in Scotland. This is because a lot of oats are eaten in Scotland, which contain phosphorus. Phosphorus binds to calcium, preventing this mineral from being absorbed into the body. In this way, the cause of MS has to do with sunlight and diet.

Breakfast with muesli

Several types of breakfast are possible. Add cold-pressed oils such as linseed oil, which cannot be used for frying, to every breakfast. This oil can be added to raw vegetables and muesli. You can make your own muesli by adding seeds and grains. It is very good for the MS patient to germinate the seeds and grains. Sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, whole grains can all be germinated. That takes 3 days. You place the seeds in lukewarm water and rinse them every day, after which you place them in fresh water. Germinated wheat, rye, oats and barley no longer contain gluten, which means that the muesli or porridge no longer becomes sticky.

Muesli variations

You can eat muesli with cottage cheese or biogarde. Muesli should not be sweetened with sugar, only with dried fruits. Examples of seeds and nuts that can be mixed into a muesli are: walnuts, sesame seeds, almonds, hazelnuts and pecan nuts. A muesli is always provided with sour fruits such as apple, kiwi, orange, strawberries and blackberries.

Lunch with raw vegetables

People can be cured of MS by eating carrots and tubers for breakfast. Two or three of the following vegetables should be on the menu every day, preferably raw: Carrots, beetroot, celery root, kohlrabi, radish, black radish, fennel bulb, onion, parsnip and salsify. In addition, the root crops should always be combined with vegetables consisting of green leaves such as nettle, dandelion leaf, plantain, ground ivy, speedwell, comfrey, milk thistle, trefoil, watercress, chickweed and med. The salad can be drizzled with oil, cold-pressed linseed oil, safflower oil or sunflower oil are good for this. By the way, the sunflower oil from the supermarkets is not good as it has been stripped of their valuable fats. For this you have to go to the organic store and alternate it with sunflower seeds. In addition to a raw meal, you can also eat a bowl of biogarde.

Light dinner

You can largely prepare your own evening meal, but it is important to keep it light. A vegetable soup with organic bread with sunflower paste is enough. Some potatoes with a vegetable and an omelet is also fine. It is also important not to eat sour fruits in the evening. Fruits and vegetables require a different type of stomach acid to digest properly. The first thing you eat determines how the stomach acid forms. If you eat vegetables first and fruit immediately afterwards, the fruits are digested less well.

Lunch and breakfast

The meals for breakfast and lunch can be reversed according to your own taste and insight. You can start the day with raw vegetables. Always prepare the raw vegetables just before eating, otherwise the nutritional value is lost by leaving it out for too long. In addition to calcium, the minerals copper and magnesium are important for MS patients. For this purpose it is good to drink tea from the flowers of red clover which contain copper and chamomile flowers which contain magnesium. Calcium is found in all kinds of dairy products such as cheese. It is good to drink nettle tea for the muscles. You can prepare this tea yourself. Tea can easily be sweetened with honey. Only add the honey when the tea is almost at drinking temperature. Then the healing power of honey is not lost.

Fats are important

It is important for the MS patient to eat the good fats. This can be done using the oils mentioned, but also other oils available in organic stores such as olive oil, sesame oil, almond oil, mustard oil and walnut oil. All these oils contain a lot of natural linoleic acid, which is much healthier than the artificial linoleic acid that margarine manufacturer Unilever tends to sell people. It is important to eat butter.

Stone

Alternative therapists also recommend wearing stones as an additional addition to the healing process. There are different stones for every disease. The malachite, rhodonite and rhodochrosite are beautiful stones that can be worn as a necklace. It is advisable to consult a herbal therapist if you want to be more informed about curing MS.
