Health and regeneration

One of the most important characteristics of our society is a hectic existence. Everything has to move fast and forward, both in professional and private life. We barely have time for each other, let alone for ourselves. Because of this, people sometimes get stuck in suffering, fears and feelings of guilt. That is why it is important that we take a moment to reflect on ourselves to recharge our batteries. This can be done both physically and mentally.

Regenerate

We all lead very hectic lives. We are busy with our jobs, our children, hobbies and our friends. Most of the time we don’t have time for ourselves anymore. As a result, we often get stuck in all kinds of feelings. It is very important that we stop every now and then and think about our future, health and those feelings. That we will again look for those sources that can improve our health. Rejuvenation can be done both physically and mentally. Recharging yourself mentally can be done in many ways.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong is another word for traditional Chinese health exercises. The basis of these exercises is Qi, which means life energy. The name Qi Gong has not been used for very long. In the past, these exercises were mainly known as dayoin. This is often translated as Chinese yoga. Qi Gong is a total healing method with the aim of staying or becoming healthy. The more relaxed you are, the better the energy can flow. Qi Gong can be divided into 5 movements:

  • Health-restoring exercises
  • Health protective exercises
  • Rejuvenation exercises
  • Spiritual exercises
  • Inner martial art or Tai Chi

 

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is also called attention training. It is a combination of Eastern meditation techniques and Western psychology. The objective is to pay particular attention to what you do, to be fully present and no longer compare with the past. By being completely in the now, one no longer becomes depressed in the absence of certain desires and this improves the quality of life. Mindfulness is recommended for anyone who wants to improve their mental and physical health. One learns to deal with stress, pain and suffering.

Meditation

Meditation is derived from Latin and means to think. Meditation brings peace within. In a peaceful way one gains inner peace. Three major types are distinguished:

  • Contemplation: one reflects on a text from the Bible or a passage from the life of Jesus
  • Concentration meditation: attention is focused on an object, an image or a sound (God, breathing, natural element)
  • Vipassana meditation: better known as mindfulness

 

Foot reflexology

This is an alternative medicine that believes that all parts of the body are connected to certain areas on the feet. The bottom of the foot is divided into zones, with each zone corresponding to a specific body part or organ. Massage of the foot activates the entire body and removes energy blockages.

Living in your Body

You learn more about your own body through breathing, body contact and exercise. You learn how to gain more self-confidence, how to guard your boundaries better and you become aware of what you really want.

Yoga

The term Yoga originally comes from India. It is the set of breathing and physical exercises that leads to complete relaxation of the body and promotes mental health. There are many types of Yoga including:

  • Hormone yoga
  • Dance yoga
  • Chakra yoga
  • Tantra yoga
