The steam is used to prepare your face for further treatments with care products. The effect of the steam stimulates blood flow and opens the skin pores. This allows the skin to be better cleaned and further treated. The maximum treatment time is twenty minutes per day. This device should be used a maximum of three times a week per person. Adhere to the maximum specified frequency and duration of use! This facial steamer is only intended for the use of distilled water.
Operating the facial sauna: preparation for the treatment
Check that the device is switched off and that the mains plug has been removed from the socket. It is important that the facial sauna is placed on a robust, even surface. Think of this as a table. Fill the supplied measuring cup with distilled water. Remove the reservoir from the Beurer FC 72 facial sauna and remove the screw cap. Slowly pour the distilled water into the reservoir. The water level must reach at least the min mark and no more than the maximum indicated height full. If you fill to the full mark you will have enough water for a 15 minute treatment. Place the reservoir back in the Beurer FC 72 facial sauna. You should hear a click. Only after filling should you plug the mains plug into the socket. You turn the nozzle to the desired angle. Please note: you must do this before the treatment. During the treatment the nozzle is hot and you may burn your hands. Clean your face with a damp cloth.
Therapy
After you have followed all the instructions for “preparing for treatment”, you can plug the Beurer FC 72 facial sauna into the socket. The blue indicator light comes on and the distilled water in the reservoir is heated. After a maximum of two minutes, sufficient steam is produced for the treatment. Please note: however, steam may come out of the nozzle after a minute. Close your eyes and slowly move your face towards the nozzle. You should maintain a distance of at least twenty-five centimeters from the nozzle. Check If in doubt, use a ruler or measuring tape to measure this distance. During the treatment, the intention is for the steam jet to reach your entire face. Please note: the treatment should feel pleasant at all times. Increase the distance to the spray head if you use the steam as a too hot or unpleasant. This is to ensure that your face does not burn. The device will stop automatically if the water reservoir no longer contains enough water or if the fifteen minutes have elapsed. It is always advisable to keep an eye on the time. After the treatment, remove the plug from the socket. Then wash your face thoroughly with cold water. You can then apply the desired care products. You must clean the device after each treatment. Allow the Beurer FC 72 facial sauna to cool down for at least ten minutes. The Beurer FC 72 facial sauna can then be cleaned.
Cleaning and maintenance
Please note: the basic device contains electrical components and should therefore never be rinsed with running water. After the treatment you must clean the device. Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. The water tank can be cleaned in the dishwasher and then replaced.
