Cure hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are distinguished between internal and external hemorrhoids. They are caused by the expansion of the veins in the rectum and/or anus. The condition becomes more painful when the hemorrhoids become larger and can bulge outwards. This can cause pain and irritation that must be treated as quickly as possible to prevent any further inflammation.

What are hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids occur when the pressure in the blood vessels becomes greater than the internal wall of the lower part of the rectum or anus can handle. Some people are predisposed to developing hemorrhoids and this is therefore also a hereditary condition. It can also be caused by an obstruction to blood drainage, for example due to incorrect posture, obesity, pregnancy or insufficient support of the thin vein walls.Hemorrhoids are divided into internal and external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are only visible when the baby is straining strongly during bowel movements or pushing out during pregnancy. External hemorrhoids protrude outside the anus as blue-red lumps of one to several centimeters in size.Symptoms :

  • Tension or cramping feeling in or around the anus
  • Itching in the anus
  • Blood during stool
  • Pain and pressure in the anus and lower abdominal pain
  • Eczema can develop
  • And all kinds of inflammation due to fluid loss

Treating hemorrhoids

Many people will mistake any condition or bleeding from the anus for hemorrhoids. However, there may be several causes behind this, with repeated heavy bleeding, for example, being a cause of cancer of the anus or colon. That is why a good diagnosis from the doctor is always very necessary.Ointments and suppositories can often provide relief from the symptoms. Stubborn hemorrhoids can be treated by applying a rubber band so that the mucous membrane dies and the wound can heal. This band is placed in the anus using a proctoscope. A hemorrhoid can also be shrunk by means of injections on site. Hemorrhoids that are too large can possibly be removed surgically.Hemorrhoids that develop during pregnancy usually disappear on their own after the baby is delivered.

Surgically remove hemorrhoids

If the complaints continue to recur, a local intervention can provide help. These are usually performed on an outpatient basis, such as injections to shrink the veins, freezing or infrared. For others you will need to be admitted, where the hemorrhoids will be cut away and/or the anus will be stretched.

Prevent complaints of hemorrhoids

  • Eating fiber-rich foods can soften the stool, preventing excessive straining. Foods such as whole wheat bread, fruit, and fresh vegetables are packed with fiber. Drinking plenty of water also makes bowel movements easier.
  • Don’t postpone a visit to the toilet for too long. Go to the toilet at least every day to prevent constipation.
  • Take more exercise, especially if you sit often and for long periods of time.
  • Avoid alcohol, coffee, carbonated drinks and spicy foods as much as possible. The substances in it have a stimulating effect on the anus.
  • Sometimes just bed rest can ease the pain and other complaints.
  • To relieve any pain, you can regularly take a sitz bath in lukewarm, almost cold water.
