Psychometry, perceiving information through photos or objects

Psychometry or psychoscopy is the observation of emotional information on the basis of a photo or an object. This information, sometimes combined with advice, is then passed on to the client. But how exactly does this work and in what situations can it be used?

What is psychometry?

Psychometry or psychoscopy is the skill of observing emotional information on the basis of a photo or an object. We call the practitioners psychometricians or psychoscopists. For example, the psychometrician looks at or touches a ring, watch or a photo and can sense the client’s situation from there. He can look back, but also partly look forward. Sometimes contact with a deceased person is also possible, or a deceased person can pass on information through a supervisor. Objects used are very diverse and sometimes also reflect the psychometric form or technique.

How does it work?

The psychometrician is guided by his feelings and picks up an object or photo. To be able to ‘read’ this, the psychometrician must concentrate well and prepare for his work in advance. He must be relaxed and ensure that the will is there to receive and pass on incoming impressions.Every object or photo is surrounded by energy, an aura. An aura adapts to the circumstances of an object. In living objects, such as people, animals and plants, the aura is also alive. The aura of objects such as rings or photos is formed over time. Such an aura can be very strong. The psychometrician is able to pick up the impressions attached to the object and ‘connect’ with them. This connection is then expressed in the reception of a strong emotion or powerful thought. Then it is converted into a spoken word.It also happens that the psychometrician cannot extract a message from the object. This can have several causes. The most obvious cause is that the attunement was not pure or relaxed enough. This causes the psychometrician to block himself.

Types of psychometry

Psychometricians all have their own specializations. Different types of psychometrics are:

Photo analysis

This includes photos of the deceased, the living, and also of animals.

Flower séance

Flowers are among living objects. It is important that the flowers are presented in a vase. This way, the impressions and emotions cannot become confused with the influences of the other flowers. This is very important with this type of psychometry.

Photos and objects

At most psychometry evenings, photos and objects are analyzed. This also includes all washable items such as handkerchiefs, gloves and clothing. The washable objects are the most difficult for the psychometrician.

Clairvoyant observations

This name includes various options, all of which fall under psychometrics. For example, aura reading, personal feeling and emotion recognition and chakra reading.

When do you go to a psychometrician?

Psychometry evenings have been well attended in recent years. Not only because very beautiful messages are passed on in this way, but also because many people are curious about the paranormal or spiritual phenomenon. This interest is increasing, partly due to programs such as The Sixth Sense and Derek Ogilvie. Other reasons may include:

  • Advice about a relationship
  • Nutritional advice
  • For nutritional advice
  • Problems with children
  • Advice about work
  • The loss of a loved one
  • Observing strange things in the house
