Bladder infection due to enlarged prostate: drink nettle tea

As we age, the size of the prostate increases by default. Already during puberty, the prostate begins to increase in size and can also lead to an abnormally large prostate, which puts pressure on other tissue. It can lead to very painful complaints when urinating. What are the symptoms of an enlarged prostate and what can you do to prevent bladder infections?

What does the prostate do?

The primary task of the prostate is to produce fluid which, together with the sperm and the epididymis, forms semen or sperm. However, the fluid made by the prostate is essential because it opens the way into the woman’s body for sperm to swim deep inside. This is because the prostate fluid added is alkaline. The woman’s vagina is acidic, in which semen cannot normally live. The added liquid reduces the acidity, allowing sperm cells to swim further. The prostate is therefore a very important part of our fertility and reproduction. But if the prostate gradually becomes larger, what are the consequences?

Symptoms

Once the man reaches the age of about fifty, the man may suffer from an enlarged benign prostate. The prostate becomes larger due to an increase in the number of prostate cells present, in addition to which muscles in the prostate tissue tighten. The woman may suffer from pelvic floor problems. This leads to the following symptoms:

  • having to urinate frequently (also at night), but always in small amounts;
  • failure to fully empty the bladder, resulting in dripping;
  • having a weak beam, which is also difficult to get going;
  • painful need to urinate or a painful urge while nothing comes out;
  • incontinence and other urinary problems.

Consequences

The prostate is enlarged and therefore presses on the bladder. The bladder is therefore deformed and therefore cannot be emptied properly. This can also mean that a bladder infection occurs because urine remains behind for a long time. This bladder infection develops in the urethra, but can also infect the urinary tract to the kidneys. This will make urination extra difficult and painful. It can be described as having sharp blades in the urethra during urination. In addition, the pressure from the prostate can cause blood vessels to rupture, making the urine look bloody. Normally a bladder infection can be resolved with a course of anti-antibiotics, but the cause of the condition has not disappeared. The bladder infection can therefore return repeatedly. What else can you do about that?

How does the tea work?

Nettle has many beneficial properties to treat ailments and conditions, because it has diuretic properties. Consider the following properties:

  • it has a disinfectant effect and can fight infections in the body;
  • it ensures that fluids are removed quickly and effectively through the urine;
  • toxins in the body are also removed;
  • it has an appetite-suppressing effect and can be used in combination with losing weight.

The root of the nettle contains higher concentrations of the beneficial effects and is therefore optimally suited to tackle persistent infections.

Tips for bladder infections

Obviously, drinking nettle root tea or goldenrod will not reduce the pressure from the prostate on the bladder much and surgical correction may need to be performed. It may help to slow down the growth of the prostate. Drinking nettle root tea will completely cleanse the internal body of waste and toxins, in addition to resolving infections and inflammations. This means that by regularly drinking nettle root tea, the elderly man is freed from recurring bladder infections. Please note that it is always good to drink plenty of water in addition to drinking tea regularly. It promotes the flow of the bladder, in addition to which toxins can be optimally removed.

Advice

Please note that an enlarged prostate can also be a malignant variant, requiring a prostatectomy. Always have yourself examined by a medical specialist. Ask at the drugstore or health food store for more information about the use of nettle root tea.
