Breast implantation

When you think of silicone, you think of Pamela Anderson, Lolo Ferrari and various porn stars. Not to sick women who have to wait months before their prostheses can be removed. Does the beauty ideal of large breasts still outweigh the frequently publicized complaints that silicone prostheses (possibly) cause?

Japan 1973

As early as 1982, the first reports of autoimmune complaints after the insertion of silicone prostheses emerged. Previously, it was Japanese women of low moral character who had silicone injected directly under the skin in the 1940s and even died from it. After this, it was the Japanese who showed in 1973 that silicone causes immune diseases (Silicone implants are still banned in Japan!).After the implants from the French company PIP came into the media in 2011, more and more reports were received about the silicone that was still available, including at the Silicone Complaints Reporting Center (MKS), which is part of the Support Center for Women with Silicone ( SVS), founded by Marlou Boots. She herself died from the effects of silicone disease. From 1992 until her death in 2010, she advocated for women with silicone implants.Silicone takes over the body. Silicones float, they spread throughout the body. They can be compared to a haze of desert sand – only if you were to sweep the grains together would you see them. Pathological examination of women has found silicone in every tissue and organ. Marlou Boots

Pros and cons

Do the advantages of an implant still outweigh the disadvantages, whether it is implanted for the beauty ideal or because of a medical background? The complaints that can arise after an operation, whether or not it has failed, are not economical. There are various diseases that can be caused by the so-called silicone disease. Some of them are as follows: autoimmune diseases, antiphospholipid syndrome, ASIA, asthma, A-typical chest pain syndrome, connective tissue diseases, chronic fatigue syndrome CFS/ME, fibromyalgia, Human Adjuvant Disease, skin reactions, cancer / ALCL, lung diseases, lupus, neurological diseases, kidney diseases, MCS / Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, MS-like syndrome, PMSS, polymyositis/dermatomyositis, rheumatism, s, Thyroid diseases, Silicone Gelbleed Disease, silicone lymphadenopathy, Siliconosis, Sjögren syndrome, systemic sclerosis/scleroderma (ss), vascular inflammation, and the disease of StillThe components contained in silicone implants are downright disturbing. 39 chemicals and eight heavy metals. Including toluene, acetone, benzene, barium, nickel and chromium. The link between the complaints and components of the silicone prostheses has still not been 100% established. But anyone who sees the above chemicals and heavy metals should at least think twice. The saltwater implants are also not safe . Yes, the contents of the implant consist of a harmless saline solution. But the outside of the prosthesis still consists of silicone. In addition, the silicone jacket is breathable, allowing bacteria to enter the solution freely, which can cause mold or even antibiotic-resistant bacteria to develop.

Silicones in the blood

Silicone prostheses will leak or sweat over time. This already releases some of the silicone. As the implants age, they can also rupture. It is just a myth that the implants will last a lifetime. If the outside of the prosthesis tears, the silicone has every opportunity to enter your bloodstream via your lymphatic vessels. A phase-contrast microscope can be used to demonstrate that silicone does indeed enter the blood. And specialist blood tests have revealed all kinds of toxins and nutritional deficiencies.Silicone never leaves your body; They cannot be broken down or leave your body through the feces. If the silicone prostheses are removed, there is a chance that the complaints will never disappear completely. The silicone causes chronic inflammation; the body becomes exhausted and autoimmune diseases can arise, causing the immune system to fight not only against the silicone but also against your own body.

Implications

Also consider the consequences of donating blood, possibly donating organs or even something as simple as breastfeeding. Even if the implants have already been removed, there is a very good chance that silicone is still floating through the body and can then enter someone else’s body in this way. There is even talk that there may be a relationship between breastfeeding with silicone implants and abnormal esophageal motility in children. See citation Whether you as a woman are one of the 20% who are considering this surgery from a medical point of view or one of the 80% who want to have them implanted from a cosmetic point of view, there are many reasons not to get implants. But not all of these reasons are medically substantiated. Also because some of the research still needs to be done to determine whether it is actually harmful to health – or whether there is a link between the complaints and the silicone. But remember the following things; 97 – 99% of women with implants have one or more of the following health complaints; muscle and joint complaints, chronic fatigue, concentration and memory disorders. In addition, there is no medication yet against stray silicone in the body.
